Over the past few years, I’ve been assembling lists of restaurants in some of my favorite neighborhoods. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, whether it’s near a monument or attraction in the city or in a neighborhood a bit further afield, this is the place to look!
Where to Eat Near Monuments and Attractions
Eating well near Paris’ monuments can be tricky, but I’ve done the (grueling…) research to make it far more palatable!
The Eiffel Tower, featuring one of my all-time favorite classic bistros.
Montmartre, with an exquisite rôtisserie.
The Louvre, home to one of my top wine bars.
Notre Dame, the place to go with a sweet tooth.
Where to Eat in My Favorite Neighborhoods
These are some of my favorite neighborhoods where food is the destination – and trust me: it’s worth it!
In the trendy Upper Marais, my favorite neighborhood for food and coffee.
In the historic Lower Marais, with its famous rue des Rosiers.
Rue Montorgueil and Les Halles, home of Paris’ former “belly” – and still a great place to dine.
Near the Canal Saint-Martin, trendy and picturesque.
Dining central: the 11th arrondissement.
