1. It’s tough to pick a time of day when Paris is at its most beautiful, but if forced, I’d probably pick sunset.
2. Paris already boasts a vaguely pink hue at most times of day, but as the sun begins to set, it tinges everything with a peachy light that’s positively breathtaking – and even makes the usually ugly Montparnasse Tower look pretty.
3. It brings out the natural tones in the Paris limestone that is the base of most of our buildings.
4. And it turns already majestic views, like this one of the Pantheon, into something nearly magical.
5. If you can catch a sunset over the river, you’ll probably never see Paris the same way again.
